Humanitarian Failures of Iraq War
On March 20, 2003, a collation force led by the United States of America attacked Iraq, based on the belief that Iraq possessed and was actively developing weapons of mass destruction (WMD); these weapons possessed threats to the U.S., U.S.'s interests and its allies.
